Nuts affect surprisingly few IBS sufferers, with only around 2% of people having severe allergic reactions to nuts. That being said, if you are allergic or even intolerant to nuts, please sit this one out. However, if you are able to consume nuts safely, you may want ti indulge in this gorgeous recipe. Great for men and women who want a natural energy boost and are bored of water!

Brazil nuts are rich in selenium, a powerful antioxidant that supports gut lining repair, reduces inflammation, and boosts immunity. They also provide magnesium and zinc, which are essential for digestive health, circulation, and hormone balance.

Dates are a great source of soluble fibre to feed good gut bacteria, along with potassium and magnesium to support muscle function, blood flow, and stress relief.

Maple syrup, while sweet, contains beneficial minerals like manganese and zinc, along with anti-inflammatory polyphenols that can help protect the gut. Together, these ingredients support digestion, circulation, and energy levels.

***I used the Milky Plant Machine to make this nut milk – it is the best investment if you are going to make regular nut milks. However, you can use a NutriBullet then drain through a muslin cloth.

  1. Add ingredients into your chosen machine (Milky Plant Machine / Nutri-Bullet) and create this really simple nut milk. If you are using a smoothie maker such as a Nutri-Bullet, then you will want to strain the milk through a muslin cloth a couple of times to get a smooth consistency. *If you are using the milky plant machine, this does everything for you.
