I just love the colour of this breakfast smoothie and the vitamin A it contains will give you laser vision! Well, not quite but it is very good for the eyes and if I have a lot of computer work to do this really helps me feel less foggy. Great for energy and easy digestion this tasty treat will soon become a form favourite!
You will need a smoothie maker for this recipe! I used a Nutri-Bullet. Not expensive and in regular use at my house!

Instructions
- TIP! Pour the water into the smoothie jug first so nothing gets clogged or stuck at the top.
- Peel and chop the orange and wash and chop the carrot. Peel banana and break into small chunks. Add these to the smoothie maker.
- Add the dry ingredients. If you take vitamins you can add these to the mix if not in capsule form. I added my vitamin D to this smoothie just to make doubly sure I was getting everything I need to set me up for the day.
- Blend or pulse for 30 - 40 seconds until smoothie is fully blended. You may add more water at this point if you prefer a less thick consistency. I like to 'chew' my smoothies and make a real meal out of it but we will each have a personal preference on desired consistency. Go with the flow and enjoy the glow! Serve with a lime wedge.
