Over the years I’ve tested countless kitchen gadgets, filters and tools that claim to improve health and make cooking easier.

Most are unnecessary. Some are genuinely helpful.

This page features the kitchen essentials I personally use and regularly recommend to my clients to support better hydration, simpler meal preparation and a healthier gut-friendly lifestyle.

These are practical tools that make everyday habits easier to maintain — starting with clean, reliable water and simple ways to prepare nourishing food.

Take a look and see what could support your own gut health journey.

Water Distiller

This has been one of my best kitchen investments. I’ve been distilling my water for nearly five years now and I genuinely wouldn’t be without it. It has increased the amount of water I drink, the confidence I have in the quality of my water, and the overall hydration my body receives.

A water distiller works by turning water into steam and then condensing it back into liquid. This process removes organic, inorganic and biological contaminants (including bacteria and viruses), making it one of the most effective ways to purify drinking water.

I use distilled water for drinking, herbal teas, cooking and juices – it provides a clean, neutral starting point for proper hydration. Don’t forget to add ionic trace minerals to your distilled water – to increase the benefits.

Ninja Air Fryer – Coming soon!

A one-drawer air fryer is perfect for quick, healthy meals when you’re cooking for one or two people. I use mine for roasting vegetables, cooking salmon or chicken, and making crispy sweet potato wedges with very little oil.

It’s fast, simple and takes the fuss out of cooking real food – which makes sticking to gut-friendly eating much easier.

Ninja Air Fryer (double) – Coming soon!

The two-drawer version is brilliant if you’re cooking for a family or want to prepare two things at the same time. One drawer can cook protein while the other cooks vegetables, and both finish together.

For busy households trying to eat healthier, this is one of the easiest ways to get proper meals on the table without spending ages in the kitchen.

Ninja Slow Cooker – Coming soon!

A slow cooker is one of the most underrated tools for gut health. Long, slow cooking helps break down fibres and proteins, making meals easier to digest.

It’s perfect for soups, stews, broths and slow-cooked meats. Simply add your ingredients in the morning and let it gently cook throughout the day. By evening you have a nourishing, homemade meal ready to go.

Ninja Juicer – Coming soon!

Fresh vegetable juices are a fantastic way to flood the body with nutrients, especially if digestion is struggling. A good juicer allows you to extract vitamins, minerals and phytonutrients from vegetables like celery, cucumber, carrots and leafy greens.

I often recommend juices as a gentle way to support hydration, detoxification and digestive recovery.

Ninja Smoothie Machine – Coming soon!

A high-speed blender is one of the most versatile appliances you can own. I use mine for smoothies, soups, salad dressings, sauces, dips and nut milks.

It’s ideal for creating fibre-rich drinks and quick meals when you’re short on time but still want something nourishing.

Ninja Food Processor – Coming soon!

A food processor makes healthy cooking quicker and easier. It can chop vegetables, blend dips, grate ingredients and mix dough in seconds.

For anyone trying to eat more fresh, whole foods, it removes a lot of the prep work and helps you create meals from scratch without spending hours in the kitchen.
